OH, now in Angleton, TX, my former tenant and friend. The reason is because he is an immoral, opportunistic, scheming liar.
You’ll want to read this entire story, because you won’t believe what my girlfriend (now wife) and I found out about my former "friend" Todd R. Baker. If you have any questions after reading this feel free to email me ted@younessi.com .
If you're dating Todd Baker, you need to read this. I urge you NOT to take my word for granted but to research everything I have stated here. If you don't believe me ask his parents. They'll tell you the truth. I won't post their name and address here but yuo can look them up yourself.
The Story
About 5 years ago, I made the biggest mistake of my life. Todd, my best friend at the time, was out of a job. He said he was going to get an advance on a huge trust fund he had that would mature in two years. This is the trust find that he told me about from the first months that I met him. In the meantime -- OUT OF GOOD FAITH BECAUSE HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND AND BECAUSE HE ASSURED ME HE WOULD PAY ME BACK FROM THE TRUST FUND-- I lent Todd Ronald Baker two of my credit cards, both of which had a zero balance. I made him an authorized user on the accounts. I never doubted he would pay me back, because I TRUSTED HIM WITH MY LIFE. He was my best friend, and he said the money was there.
Before I knew it, he maxed out both cards, first one then the other, for a total of $31,000 plus a couple hundred.
When I asked if he got the money from the advance, he said -- to my face -- no, the judge wouldn’t allow him to take any money out of the trust fund early. THERE WOULD BE NO MONEY COMING AND HE WAS STILL OUT OF A JOB.
During the time he was unemployed, the payments were being made (from cash advances on my cards) he eventually got a job several months later but the payments were not being made since they were maxed out. He assured me when I asked ( HE OFFERED NO INFORMATION UNLESS I ASKED ) he would sign a promissory note saying the charges were all his and that he would pay them off. He said he would give me copies of the trust fund, so I could have a lawyer draw up the paperwork.
In the meantime he put my accounts into a debt management program, but never made a payment on the program. He had paid nothing on the credit card accounts in several months.
Todd told me the first week of July 2003 he was going to move. When I wrote him a letter asking again for the trust fund papers and gave him a one-week deadline to do it, he never got back to me.
My Girlfriend (now wife who has stood by me this entire time) and I finally went to his parents to find out the truth. What they told me blew my mind.
According to his parents, is there NO TRUST FUND! Not only that but Todd Baker is a COMPULSIVE LIAR who has been IN AND OUT OF THERAPY SINCE AGE 9, was TAKEN TO A MENTAL FACILITY AT AGE 17, was NEVER A NAVY SEAL (see TODD BAKER - NOT A SEAL after this) despite the navy SEAL tattoo on his arm. In fact he could barely even pass regular Navy drills due to asthma, his mom told me. Todd STOLE $5,000 FROM A FAMILY MEMBER'S CHECKING ACCOUNT and was charged for it, (Unfortunately, the charge was reduced to writing bad checks instead of forgery). Todd Baker also SPENT 10 DAYS IN JAIL ON ONE COUNT OF FORGERY in 1989. My girlfriend verified this by calling the Galia Police Department in Ohio. There are even more lies, so I listed them in this site.
EVERYTHING TODD RONALD BAKER HAS EVER TOLD ME -- AND PROBABLY EVERYONE ELSE -- ABOUT HIS LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE!
Why am I telling you this? Well, I’m telling everyone who will listen. Especially women that might fall to Todd's charms. Todd may read this and he may even try to sue me for what I have written, but I am telling the truth. There is no libel nor is there any false information. I can prove everything. Also I’m telling you this to warn you if you know him. He’s probably lied to you as well. Women think he's quite good looking and very charming and comes off as a well-tempered and together individual. See (profiles of a sociopath for your own conclusions).
I think Todd probably is jealous of me. See, with Ted Younessi, (that’s me) what you see is what you get. I know that if someone likes me it is ME they like. With Todd, you never know him. And if you befriend him, it is merely because the lies he’s told you about his past, not the real him. It’s a shame that Todd will never know what it is like to have someone befriend him for who he really is. Each and every well made-up story he tells anyone is just that, a story. In fact during a conversation with one of his family members I was told that if you asked Todd what he had for breakfast he would lie about it.
I, on the other hand, will probably find it hard to ever trust the people close to me again. Todd was my best friend, my confidant and a brother to me. And he turned out to be nothing but a liar. Todd, I can't imagine how crappy your self esteem has to be to make you lie so much just to make yourself seem interesting.
